About
SEO consultant and ex-Google engineer Fili built the Disavow File Validator and Generator. At Google, Fili worked in the Search Quality team, reviewed link schemes, handled reconsideration requests and wrote internal guidance on bad links.
Google Search Console expects a disavow file in a strict format, and a small mistake makes Google reject the file or skip lines. Both tools check every line against that format, explain each problem, and return a clean file ready to upload. Using the Validator and Generator is free, and development is ongoing.
Frequently asked questions
I don't have a disavow file. How do I make one?
Use the Disavow File Generator. Paste URLs and domains, one per line, and get a ready file back.
Who made the Disavow File Validator?
Ex-Google engineer and former Google Search Quality team member Fili. At Google he reviewed link schemes, worked on reconsideration requests and wrote internal guidance on penalizing bad links.
Does the Disavow File Validator analyze my backlinks?
No. It checks the patterns in a disavow file before you upload it to Google Search Console. For a backlink audit, hire ex-Google Search Quality team members.
Why do you need my email address?
Processing can take a few minutes. You get one email with a link to the report. The address is deleted as soon as that email is sent, and it is never used for anything else.
How fast is it?
Most files are done within minutes. Very large files take longer. If no email arrives within a day, check the spam folder or contact Fili.
Is it free?
Yes, as often as you need.
How long is a report available?
For 7 days. After that the report link stops working, and the check can run again at any time.
How do I report a bug?
Contact Fili and include the report ID.
